About
Actor
B.A., Musical Theater and Acting, summa cum laude, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, 2018
Training: Uta Hagen, Chekhov, Alexander, Meisner, and Le Coq mask work
My Acting Philosophy: Drawn to such luminary role models as Audra McDonald, Meryl Streep, Helen Mirren, Cate Blanchett, and Vivien Leigh, I became fascinated at a young age with an actor's ability to transform herself. In each vastly different character these women portrayed, I saw either a familiar part of myself or an unexpressed, yet wholly present part: of course, Blanche's reckless, feverish abandon, for instance, is not an exemplary trait, but it still exists within me. My goal in my acting is to give voice to both the beautiful and the ugly within us and to create characters as varied as the human experience.

Singer
I have trained with Lisa Willson DeNolfo (8 years) and Dr. Christine Anderson (4 years).
Vocal range: F3-G6
Musical theater: soprano with strong mix and belt
Classical: lyric soprano with coloratura facility
The primary goal of my training is and will always be mastery of any style through healthy technique. My first loves were classic jazz, golden age musical theater, and singer/songwriter pieces. But there are too many genres of music to sing just one!

My training includes jazz, modern, ballet, tap, with yoga, Alexander technique, and the beginning levels of Margolis Method.
I am particularly drawn to Fosse and classic Broadway vocabularies (in both jazz and tap), as well as lyrical modern.

Writer
I have been writing stories and scenes since I was six, on my family's dinosaur Microsoft computer. Since then, I won third in a short-story writing contest with 'Play-Doh'; in my sophomore year of college I premiered my first 10-minute play entitled 'Puppeteers' as a part of Temple Theaters Side Stage Short Stuff Festival; and just recently had the world premiere of my latest play, The Last Renters.
